ATA can personalize any adventure you desire―such as the popular cave trip followed by a river kayaking adventure. CAVING RATES
TALUS CAVES
A great cave for beginners and children of all ages. It is a 5 to 10-minute hike to the cave location. The guided trip includes approximately an hour-long cave adventure. Following caving, a popular combination is kayaking on the upper winding river or a relaxing lake paddle with a swim.

SOLUTIONAL CAVES

HALF-DAY ICE CAVE
The half-day ice cave adventure takes approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on group size. The guided day’s adventure includes a 20-minute drive, a half-mile uphill hike and rock scramble to the cave entrance, and approximately an hour-plus underground exploring deep underground. Following caving, a popular combination is a river kayaking trip or a relaxing lake paddle with a swim.

FULL DAY CAVE
The guided full-day cave adventure takes approximately 6-8 hours depending on group size. The day’s adventure includes a 45-minute drive, a 15-minute uphill hike to the cave entrance, and 3-4 hours underground exploring the cave. KAYAKING RATES
We provide a guided 1- to 2-hour local pond or river kayak tour for guests seeking a half-day adventure, and we even offer a full day river trip. Briefly, basic paddling skills are taught on-water when putting in, with more advanced strokes taught during the trip. Lefferts Pond and Chittenden Reservoir
Just 20 minutes away is ATA’s premiere paddle location, with a jaw-dropping view of a 741-acre lake that is 2 miles across at its widest point, has 7miles of shoreline with swimming spots and surrounded by Green Mountain National Forest.

Upper Winding River
This adventure lasts 1- to 2-hour on a fun 2 miles of flat calm water, with no technical rapids, along a very scenic section of the local river with beaver dams to paddle over. Very little to no paddling experience is needed for this river, making it perfect for families and first timers.

Woodstock River

White-Water River
For those seeking a real adventure, John’s favorite river contains white-water rapids from class I to II, with a very fun flume paddlers just love. Paddling experience is needed for this white-water river. With multiple put-in and take-out locations, any duration can be requested, even trips with a picnic lunch at a swimming hole. We provide kayaks, spray skirts, paddles, PFDs, dry bags and helmets.
