Based out of Killington, Vermont, Appalachian Trail Adventures provides both personalized, All-Inclusive Hiking Vacations and Guided Day Adventures throughout the Green Mountains of Vermont. With more than 25 years of experience, Appalachian Trail Adventures (ATA) is a one-stop adventure destination for outdoor enthusiasts, couples, girl getaways, families, friends and single travelers.
ATA was founded in 2007 by outdoor enthusiast John Keough, who for seven years worked in the hiking spa industry, designing an award-winning hiking program before starting his own company. ATA will show you a truly personalized Vermont hiking vacation, and remains committed to offering unsurpassed vacations at an affordable price.
ATA has just passed its 10-year anniversary as a leading provider of adventure vacations. That’s over a decade of fine-tuning its adventures and itineraries to make the very best all-inclusive vacations and guided day adventures.

Weekly and even daily we visit local Vermont attractions and businesses. We offer a sightseeing tour to the most scenic Vermont villages in a small group setting. Our sightseeing tours bring hikers to sites and businesses that include quaint villages, historical sites, country stores, covered bridges, cheese tasting, local artisans, brewery tours, antiquing and much more!
