KAYAK RENTALS
KAYAK RENTALS IN THE KILLINGTON, WOODSTOCK, LUDLOW AND CHITTENDEN REGION
Looking for a scenic paddle or to try a new sport? Then try discovering Vermont’s unspoiled shorelines, paddling on a gorgeous lake or river. Kayaks are a picture-perfect way to view wildlife or spending a beautiful afternoon relaxing. Come explore the Killington, Chittenden, Rutland, Woodstock and Ludlow region’s unspoiled waterways, which vary in size, personality with beautiful views of Mother Nature’s majesty.
The nearest bodies of water are Kent Pond, Colton Pond, Echo Lake, Woodward Reservoir, Lake Rescue, Amherst Lake, Lake Nivevah, Lefferts Pond and the jaw-dropping Chittenden Reservoir. Even though the Lake Amherst State Park offers kayak rentals and is beautiful, we strongly encourage kayaking elsewhere―where the shorelines are not developed with houses, and you can’t hear screaming children. Please note that some lakes might have high winds causing white caps or waves while others will have no winds.
Appalachian Trail Adventures has the region’s largest kayak rental fleet that includes smaller light weight kayaks designed for kids. We serve the Killington, Rutland, Chittenden, Ludlow and Woodstock area, with over 23 top-quality single-person kayaks. We cater to couples, families, reunions, wedding parties, summer camps, and school groups. At this time, we don’t offer 2-person kayaks, canoes or paddle board rentals. Rentals are for lakes only; river trips are not allowed without a guide.
For current prices, see ATA’s Kayak Rental Rates. For more information contact, call or text John for Kayak availability at 1-802-347-4343; though he might be out leading an adventure, so please leave a message or use our kayak reservation form to book your adventure. Hiking, caving trip or sightseeing tour can also be combined to make an adventure you will recall for years!
